How to reach Passo Lavazè

BY CAR: Coming from the north of Bolzano: From the Brenner / Modena motorway (A22) take the Bolzano Nord exit, continue towards Bolzano for about 1 km, then continue going up towards Val d 'Ega-Eggental / Val di Fassa-Fassatal (both at the junction and at the roundabout - 2nd exit) for about 12 km to the village of Ponte Nova; in the town center, turn right towards Passo di Lavazè-Lavazè Joch, following the road for another 12 km - travel time: 35 minutes. If you use a navigation system, enter Bolzano-Val d’Ega-Passo Lavazè.

Coming from the South of Bolzano: From the Brenner / Modena motorway (A22) take the Ora - Egna - Termeno exit, continue towards Cavalese - SS 48 of the Dolomites - for 24 km, then at the first roundabout in the village, take the second exit towards Varena - Passo di Lavazè; continue for another 10 km, crossing the town of Varena and then climbing up to the Pass.

BY BUS:

From Cavalese - or from Tesero there is a winter ski-bus service (December - March) that goes up to Lavazè ( line L3); the service is also active during the summer season.

Reaching the pass with taxi or car rental:

There are also transfer services/taxis or car rentals.
